QA Specialist – Epic Games (Full-Time, On-Site)

Location: Cary, NC

Pay: Not listed, but includes full benefits, 401k match, and unlimited PTO

Epic Games is hiring a QA Specialist to join their Social Overlay team in Cary, NC. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on testing web and native mobile features across multiple platforms including console, iOS, Android, and more.

You'll work closely with designers, engineers, and product leads to own testing coverage, build risk assessments, and help ensure polished, bug-free player experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Build test plans and strategies across multiple platforms

  • Work with devs, SDETs, and QA teams to track bugs and verify fixes

  • Use both manual and technical testing tools for deep coverage

  • Help drive testing across iOS, Android, and console builds

  • Report quality metrics and help shape product health

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of QA experience with web, mobile, or game platforms

  • Skilled in native testing tools (ADB, Xcode, TestFlight, etc.)

  • Experience debugging on consoles like Xbox, PS5, or Switch

  • Ability to create detailed test cases across full dev cycles

  • Excellent communication skills with technical teams

Bonus Points

  • Familiar with frontend/backend QA for live products

  • Comfortable using Charles Proxy, Chrome DevTools, and mobile debuggers

  • Experience working directly in a product’s SDLC

  • Strong problem-solver with eye for quality edge cases
