SUMMARY:

The Game Designer will report to the Senior Game Designer and will be responsible for supporting an efficient and effective game development process within the assigned Studio Team. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all games developed by the team meet established standards for quality, including design, functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and system compatibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV

  • Understanding of market needs and requirements

  • Creation and organization of game design documents

  • Project timeline creation, tracking and organization for all games

  • Create, update, and maintain the necessary pools, math, frequencies, and required lab documentation for the game

  • Participate in all needed check points to maintain an efficient game creation process

  • Collaborate with the art department and games department to ensure the game meets the vision and standard the Game Designer wants as per required by the company needs

  • Responsible for game quality

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a working knowledge of Office Software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Problem analysis and problem solving

  • Highly organized

  • Team-oriented

  • Able to multitask without loss of quality

  • Basic understanding of game design and development

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in Game Design

  • 3+ years of software development experience

  • B.S in Computer Science or Math

  • Knowledge of a Project Management Software Preferred

  • Game engine knowledge (Unity/Unreal)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
